There's that buyitforlife subreddit, I was wondering if anyone has any good general recommendations of items they've purchased that seem to last a long time, or for life, or for multiple lifetimes.

Example: for cars, I've seen some people suggest Hondas or Toyotas

Got any suggestions or reviews to share?

So in an effort to think up more sustainable footwear, I stumbled upon a concept of a sandal that goes over shoes. This was being marketed towards "sneakerheads" I think, or people with nice shoes. My use case thought with this design would be, you put on the "sandal" to walk some distance (maybe you need to walk a mile each way to an event) and then you take them off for light walking arount at a destination. This would allow the "sandal sole" to be worn out faster than the shoe itself.

I've looked in to the idea of "resoling shoes" but this looks complicated. So I was wondering instead if you could just have a sole that attaches as a sandal (sandal sole) that could be disposed of or reused when it gets used up. Or you could design shoes this way where the sole attaches like a clip in sandal so they're easily replaceable.

Redundant concept? Not useful? Got an alternative idea?

I believe that people posting about their dead relative/friend on social media are attention seekers? I see a lot of people do that on music videos on Youtube.

I know people reminiscence about stuff they did/listened to with their past relatives/friends and are mourning them but posting about it on social media just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe I'm looking into it too much and I'm just cynical as fuck but who knows?

My son isn’t vaccinated and neither will his yet to be born siblings.

A 14% drop in vaccines gives us a 9% drop in infant mortality rates.

Don’t inject your children with any jew poison.

I have a few ideas on how to accomplish the above goal that vary in complexity, but im curious to hear some other takes on this.

One idea that i had was to form an on campus, unofficial self-improvement bookclub. During discussions of "chad" books that are still socially acceptable(stuff like junger and mishima) I would ask probing open ended questions. Based on the responses, I would continue private discussion with those that answered favorably, and then organically form a circle of those who passed my filters.

Many people underestimate the psychological and social effects of pop culture, thus it is important for us as dissidents to analyze this content and understand its propagandistic undertones, so that we do not let it affect us subconciously, and so we can better counteract it.
