Granted, I would also like to mention I find prostitution to be cringe, but criminalization probably adds to the cringe.

I don't understand for example why some MGTOWs advocate for people to see "escorts". Like, keep the hard earned money. Don't feed the egos of such women or simp for them and feminism. Of course the activity is sinful and I oppose it for that reason. And I understand some here are anti-MGTOW, I think MGTOW has its good and bad - some of them are kind of like feminists, others are basically just recognizing relationships are a mess today and good luck navigating many of the pitfalls involved in trying to have a decent relationship.

honestly can someone give a summary and what they agreed with in the book? summaries I see and the little I read didn't really seem to give much substantial info or argument. It felt like it droned on and could be summed up in a much shorter piece.

idk, it is on topic of each board

maybe there is low enough traffic here that just posting to conpro would be ok

usually on other forums with more traffic, there are people who would only see a post in different communities, so maybe more necessary elsewhere

The Christian faith is "necessary for salvation"

Thus a hindu knowingly rejecting the Gospel is in a damnable position

The unbaptized hindu ignorant of Christianity could possibly go to limbo due to invincible ignorance if they follow their conscience (since morality is written on the heart as I think it says in Romans), as lacking baptism can be an obstacle for them being able to go to heaven, but their ignorance may be an obstacle for them being punished in hell

The common opinion of theologians is that few people will be saved (presumably among Christians), but this is a logical teaching as if the opinion was that many will be saved, then what is the point of making effort to be saved? But a permissible theological opinion is that the majority of men will be saved, including non-Christians.

ultimately Christians are focused on being good Christians and following the Gospel teaching to "baptize all nations" and the judgement is left up to God

I honestly think it is kind of useless, doesn't feel like it boosts my health and I feel good without it, so I could live mostly without it tbh

can someone define what conpro is at this point

originally a parody of consumerism. then seemed to have some "hard" conservative viewpoints on the wins. On arete it's the most popular board and the site has low amounts of traffic so in practice I feel like it's almost a "general" board.

but mostly I don't know what is or isn't conpro at this point tbh. I get a blend of the first two points that I mentioned (mocking excessive consumption and posting of conservative views).

awesome interesting related idea, thx for sharing

I figured out that I could basically make a sandal out of rubber or like a car tire which would last hundreds or thousands of miles, that could fit over a shoe. Saw someone else say they glue soles to their shoes rather than replacing a sole (so two soles), then replace the second sole when it weara out, so pretty much same concept. Some people run or walk with the sandals alone so I don't imagine putting it over a shoe would be extra harmful. apparently something in shoes collapses and becomes useless (midsole) as a shoe even if the sole is intact. but if people are basically using the sandal / sole alone, logically it seems equivalent to use an overused shoe with the sole. or to figure put a way to replace midsoles then (but again, people use the sandal or sole alone without midsoles, so I'd think it is equivalent - if not, just cut the botton of a shoe out and put the sandal around it that way I guess - the goal over a sandal would be some protection of the top and sides of thd feet).

It's a really simple topic, just kind of weird to me there isn't more thought on it or the solutions haven't been as attempted or implemented in society.

well another thing is, let's say they are.

There isn't anything that necessarily stops us from taking this business / nonprofit model and improving upon it, or just duplicating it.

Something to think about.

> the policy enforcers will become the government

yes, so basically this is why I think it looks more like small government than some ancaps think, it's just decentralized or isn't one entity but might be multiple

> small communities, homogeneous high functioning high trust societies

yes, arguably I'm not sure much system works at all in "multi-cultural" societies, or at least when there are conflicts of political and religious value (Christian vs. Muslim, or leftist vs. conservative for example on something offensive like abortion)

besides maybe a vague watered down form of government or governmental institutions (in ancap)

> we need anarchism today because the State is the enemy

yeah, I mean "anarchy" could be preferable to their tyrannical distortion of true government. I'd be ok with "reforms" in a freer or more conservative direction; I like the idea of ancapistan, am ok with a decent Constitutional conservativism. Anything along the spectrum of freedom and conservativism. Any improvements over what's going on right now, reverting back to former U.S. days.

I loled at the dark humor but I saw this clickbait story and it was "typical dishonest journalism" (?), the boyfriend had a fight with her completely unrelated to the post but over like finances I think

The way it's reported makes it sounds like Putin arranged for her to be taken care of like that

edit: so the boyfriend killed her for petty drama reasons not because she was a fearless protester against putin

with "covid" and war it feels like travel options are limited

most places seem to require "vaccine" or testing, although a few destinations require neither and the number might increase over this year

I'd say generally no.

If we are willing to allow then to be killed to be eaten as food, I'm not sure what other "rights" we would want to give them. (although not all pets are eaten)

maybe animal torture can be penalized as animal cruelty, but that seems to be a system open to legal abuse of supposed human offenders.

perhaps if you have a specific "right" in mind we could debate it.
