I'm confused. Is this insurance company saying they are *not* "woke", but using some sexual degenerate for their marketing? Is it supposed to be an example of what bad "woke" companies use in advertising but by showing it accidentally becomes *their* marketing? Why not just show beauty?

Story time!

I bought a washer and dryer set that I found on Craigslist or maybe Facebook Marketplace. I drove out to the place and found out it was a warehouse in an industrial park. The guy selling it was a Russian with a whole warehouse full of used appliances and while I was following him to show me my set he had others come up and pay him -- business was good. He demonstrated that the appliances worked and gave a "one week guarantee" if something went wrong. I thought it was weird that the ad looked like a personal ad compared to this big business but it was a great brand (Speed Queen) at a great price and I went home happy.

After getting the set home I noticed that one of the feet was bent and couldn't be adjusted. Red flag but the other foot was still adjustable so I just leveled it with that one. After using the dryer for a few weeks I noticed the arrow on the knob did not line up with the cycle that was running. Another red flag but not a big deal and I took the opportunity to 3D print a replacement knob as a project. I could have bought a replacement for $6.

Last week, the heat quit working. I open the front panel to most likely replace the heating element and instead I found one of the wires was charred and burned out of the connector. Looking closer at the heating element (and watching a few videos) I found out that all the wires were backwards. This was a dangerous problem that could have caused a house fire and I am telling this story because I think it wouldn't happen with a normal homeowner selling their appliances but since it was a warehouse they probably grabbed parts they had and slapped it together good enough to sell. So the moral of the story is to be cautious when buying appliances and if the place or guy seems a little sketchy he probably is.

So anyway, that's how a Russian almost burned down my house. Thanks for reading! Like™, Subscribe™, and hit that bell for Notifications™!

I haven't watched the video yet but it just seems like it wouldn't be healthy to condition your "groin" (genitals?) that way. Muscle and bone makes sense but you need armor protecting your hydraulic lines, not bulletproof hydraulic lines.

I didn't know this! If Hitler was holding the Volk above Jesus Christ as his source of faith and truth maybe that explains why God stopped him.

Thanks, this is pretty much what I was looking for! I was hoping for baby steps instead of "every corporation" but I like the posts about "non-leftist" corporations to use as a guide for where to go.

This was a necessary step in proving Bitcoin had any value as a trade commodity. If it could not be used to trade for other goods it was worthless. This man probably could have also bought 10,000 BTC for $30 but the pizza was more valuable at that moment and he was proving that BTC could be exchanged.

Not a major corporation but the pop musician Pink said "Let’s be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman’s uterus, a gay persons business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER [explative] LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO [explative] RIGHT OFF. We good?"

I'm thinking of Camping World CEO that said "If you're OK with what Trump said [that there were bad people on all sides in Charlottesville], don't shop at my business". He later wrote a letter to try to not lose business but clarified "I DO NOT apologize to anyone who is in favor of hate, violence, bigotry or racism".

How do you know if a company has an ESG score? Do they volunteer for that?

Have they said "if you are [different than us] do not watch our show"? I would be surprised but I would believe it

I'm looking for the worst offenders. Not "Black Rifle Coffee" that tried to remain neutral in a self-defense case. Not Facebook rainbow logos pandering to the culture. I mean public corporate statements saying "if you don't support our politics we do not want your business" like Starbucks CEO telling shareholders that don't like the anti-traditional marriage stance of the company to "sell your shares in Starbucks and buy shares in another company." If you could convince a Boomer to stop patronizing *one* store, which is it?

If you want to receive honor, become a servant to everyone. God's "economy" is reversed from man's where you grab all you can get to get ahead.

> The Good Reset

I got excited about the title but then it went south lol

## The Good Reset ##
1. Believe in Jesus Christ and his power to save you from sin.
2. Begin praying to Him, spending time being quiet and still.
3. Read His Word and meditate on it, thinking deeply about how you should structure your life.
4. Go outside and touch some grass, appreciating his Creation.
5. Exercise and appreciate the strength he has given you. Your body is an incredible feat of engineering. Unrivaled and unattainable level of design.
6. Eat well as part of appreciating the body God has gifted to you.
7. Spend time with other people that appreciate these same things. Spend time talking to them about it. This leads to commmunity and brotherhood.

> An unborn fetus in Jewish law is not considered a person (Heb. nefesh, lit. “soul”) until it has been born. The fetus is regarded as a part of the mother’s body and not a separate being until it begins to egress from the womb during parturition (childbirth). In fact, until forty days after conception, the fertilized egg is considered as “mere fluid.” These facts form the basis for the Jewish legal view on abortion.

I wish it was an "old white guy" instead of a woman, but she does a great job explaining and demonstrating everything. I am hoping to buy a mini lathe next year so I am trying to research and learn a lot about them.

I wouldn't try that. If your tendons are flexible enough it would be a relaxed position sitting at the bottom which wouldn't help your lift. If you are not flexible enough, I think it would be too much strain on your tendons and you might pull something and injure yourself.

> coward

More ad hominem. You think this will convince me that you are right? You think this will convince anyone reading this that you are the rational one in this exchange?

> You'll come around

You sound like a Plan Truster™

> either that, or

At least you recognize that it's not inevitable that "we" will succeed. If you don't inspire your brothers to action then you will lose. You need to be a leader that others are willing to follow.

> federal or state crimes against citizenry

So dramatic! Laws follow the morality of the people. You have to change the minds of people or else yes I will root for the state against some lone actor.

Rational people are forced reluctantly into violence. You sound eager for it.

I don't know much about Ruby Ridge or Waco. If I trusted your opinion at all I could be convinced to look into it but you have been so hostile to me that I'm more interested in "winning" this argument. You can have the last word. I won't respond anymore to this thread but if you ad hominem attack me again I won lol.

Optics? Who do you think "we" is? You are going to have to convince people (like me) that your ideas are worth considering. Otherwise when I read that a lunatic was killed in a standoff with police I'll just think "good" and keep scrolling.

Stamina jogging sounds like an excellent survival skill! It took me a while to work up to a full squat but I would do the "2×4 under my heels" trick while I watched videos and now I squat all the time; shopping, gardening, building things, cleaning; it is very useful to be able to use the floor as a table!
