Yes, absolutely. There's news reports every year from every corner of the country. I hate that "just a few bad apples" bullshit. The "good" ones absolutely know what the "bad" ones are up to, or at least that they're up to something, and do nothing about it because of the "brotherhood;" which itself is just more bullshit that corrupt cops use to lean on anyone who might expose them.

I'd say under Jimmy Carter, who pushed solar so much he had them installed on the roof of the White House. Then he gave away the Panama Canal and delivered his "Crisis of Confidence" speech that really set the tone and expectation for Americans entering the Age of Globalism.

That speech was the original "You'll own nothing and be happy." Carter told us that “Some people have wasted energy, but others haven’t had anything to waste,” but also that "we’ve discovered that owning things and consuming things does not satisfy our longing for meaning. We’ve learned that piling up material goods cannot fill the emptiness of lives which have no confidence or purpose."

In other words, we're going to start denying you a good life so that poor foreign shitskins can have a chance at enjoying that comfort. Carter was bad news in too many ways, and Bush, Biden and Obama are right there next to him in the history of American blunders.
