Japan, Korea and China do it even worse. Look at them now. By their "work ethic," they should have reached Utopia decades ago. Instead, they're all staring down the barrel of bankruptcy and demographic implosion.
Before the invasions, many European economies where doing just fine with two-hour midday siestas.

Before the Reformation and (((Enlightenment))), people really only worked when they *needed* to, even the peasants had substantial amounts of time off, partly because people had a lot more chores to do, but also because the Church insisted everyone was spiritually healthy and well rested. Work is a good thing, one of the best things for the soul if done in moderation, but we exceeded moderation a long time ago in the west.
Most of the work used to be at home and on your own pasture of land. Now most work is a commute away slaving for some corporation in ZOGland.
You can take some of it back. Homesteading is still popular among the survivalist community. Take small steps to produce more of your own food at home, do more of the work on your own house and equipment, do more of your work remotely from home, and reduce consumption or develop some of your own energy and water on your own land. Baby steps to get off grid, one year at a time. It should be everyone's resolution for 2025 to get a little bit more off grid even if it is just small steps.

My SO is a supervisor at a healthcare facility. During a "very productive" 8 hour day she works about 4-5 hours and chats for the oyher 3-4. Some of the people she supervises seem to get away with doing as little as 3 hours of work per day, especially those whom are telecommuting.
I used to play a somewhat time-consuming video game online and most of the people in the clan I played with did so from their cubicles at work. We'd play for hours, and they got paid for it. They probably did about 2 or 3 hours of actual work and played the game the rest of the day.
This just blows my fucking mind always having worked jobs which required me to, you know, *actually work* the whole time.

If you have ever worked on a farm or ranch as employed labour, you know there is no such thing as fucking around. You may shoot the shit, but that happens whilst working.

This is an excellent critique. I understand that some jobs sometimes require long hours, like farming with seasonal long hours, or ER doctor at an understaffed hospital.
But most of the time, if someone in a paper-pushing white-collar job says he routinely works really long hours, I just assume he's inefficient or, as the comment above points out, putting on a performance.

There are weeks where I could work 18 hours days every day and still have more to do. But then other weeks where I'm all caught up and it's slow and I just take the day off. And the nature of the work isn't such that it can always just be deferred and spread out evenly. Time sensitive stuff. Kind of like tax season but more frequent.
Yeah yeah but I'm sure some lines of business are more evenly spread, if not hourly then at least daily. Like a hotel or restaurant which I've also worked at. Maybe less actual work is being done but a shift is a shift and you aren't getting the day off just because it's slow.
I was just giving an anecdote to compare with OP.

LOL. I had a job once where I overheard a coworking telling our manager that he was planning on putting in a few extra hours to get more work done. I remember thinking, "What a fucking jackass." The manager then came over to my desk to repeat the same ritual. I told him I was planning my time better throughout the day and that it was really helping me stay on schedule to avoid the company overtime.
I was let go within a month.
That's when I realized that I wasn't ever going to get along working for anyone else and got serious about starting a business; especially since the business clients I was dealing with were far from geniuses. Believe me when I say that most business owners have no business being in business.

yeah it's all bullshit. just pretend you need the overtime to get shit done if it's available. there are a lot of games you have to play to keep your job. the other lesson people need to learn is in corporate america, never tell your boss you're bored or need more work. some people actually need to be told this, like it's not obvious to them. you are better off fucking off and pretending to be busy

I remember when I was young, and a go getter willing to learn and absorb anything while all the niggers around me were dragging their feet and laughing at me. I was laughing at them in my head thinking I’m making y’all look bad while showing how valuable I am, so I’ll move up in no time. 🤣 I was a fucking idiot. This is one of the times in my life where the niggers were “smarter” than I was.
It’s unfortunate, but our country is a “melting pot” of shit now where a white man can’t really show much intititive and expect it to manifest into much unless he works for himself or the family business, and even then it’s still harder today than it was 30 plus years ago.

I learned that lesson when I was young. For one thing, it's an easy way to get stuck where you are in the company. If you're the absolute best employee in your department, you actually discourage your managers from promoting you. See it from their POV: if they promote you, who's going to do the job as well as you did? Productivity will plunge back down and it'll make those managers look bad, right? That's how being "too good" at a certain job can get you stuck there.
Often times, you just want to be the guy that gets there early, is generally liked by everyone else, doesn't complain, doesn't need to be micro-managed, and is just slightly better than average. The kind of guy that would "fit in" at lunch with the other managers. And, of course, it helps if you're a "protected class" and your company has a DEI manager that can force your promotion.

> you are better off fucking off and pretending to be busy
One thing I learned is that you can fuck off all day as long as you get there early. That same job would let you clock in 15 mins. early, so it was basically free "overtime" for the laziest coworkers I had. Do the math. They got paid an extra 5 hours each month to sip coffee in the break room. Of course, management loved those lazy fucks.
I was late a few times but always completed my workload and assignments, and I reminded them of that. Didn't matter. Being late is the WORST "sin" you can commit in Corporate America. Gossip, start rumors, play on your phone during company time, steal from the supply closet, fuck your coworkers in the bathroom, tell the clients to go fuck themselves, whatever -- *just NEVER be late!*

I’ve been arguing for at least 15 years, that if this country was still homogeneously white(at least80%), and we weren’t completely kiked, the average person could work 20-30hrs a week, and have what use to be considered the American dream. By that, I mean a nice reliable vehicle, and small modest 2/3 bedroom home for a family of 4. It enrages me anytime I think about it.

I agree with you, but I’ve seen both sides, and while office type work is physically easy, it takes it’s toll on you in a different way, especially if you’re a white man today. It’s hard to explain if you’ve never done it. We’re just not meant to be kooked up all day inside under fluorescent lights while looking at screens, and shit.
Honestly, I think the best balance is doing more physical outdoor shit when you’re young maybe up until 30-35, and then transition over mostly to more laidback indoor/office CS type shit after that. This use to be kind of how it worked, until women were pushed into the workforce, and started taking a lot of jobs in general, which also included positions men could semi retire into. Now those jobs are often given to some female straight out of high school/college while the men are left to continue breaking their backs to die all day.
I had the workaholic bug at my last job, which was my first truck driving job. Multiple 14 hour days taking no breaks. Backing trailer up a winding half mile driveway, climbing a muddy mountain while it's pitch black out, taking a 3 hour detour through back roads to return to the shop because there was a fatality on the main highway...
Honestly, that job was fuckin fun and I miss it. Wasn't worth the 22 an hour though and I had to quit for something chiller when the exhaustion made me start hitting shit 😂

I’m glad I’ve worked outside my entire life, not sure how people could sit in an office for 40hrs a week, let alone 90. I worked 80hr weeks on a regular basis for a 4 year period, I’ll never do that again, it aged the shit out of me, but that’s because it wasn’t just for show, very draining experience. It’s not worth stressing yourself that much just so some other people can get rich, if you’re going to live that life make sure it’s in service to yourself and your family, and make sure it’s paying you enough to give your family a decent life.

Even when back I formally kept a 40 hour work week I never, ever worked every single one of those hours. It's just not humanly possible. And I'm early retired with "fuck you" money so I must have done a decent enough job at it nonetheless. All l'll say is fuck the Jews from here to eternity and have faith in Christ despite any and all vicissitudes.

I was born in the wrong century, I’m just not built to thrive in this jewed environment where it’s not about how hard you work, or how competent and dependable you are, like in our grandparents day. Now it’s about getting a degree in some jew college, it’s about how good you are at kissing ass, how social you are, those things play a huge role in working one’s way up the ladder toward monetary success. There’s no happy way out of this dynamic for millions of White men, myself included. We will work to the day we die with almost nothing to show for it, all while jews strip whatever remains of our liberties, UNLESS the SHTF and we shift into a lawless hellscape, where we gain a chance to restructure the system forcefully. I pray for that environment no matter how nightmarish it will be, or if it means my own death, there’s no other way forward that’ll produce a life worth living.
God sent the Jews a new Prophet every 300-500 years. Then Christ came and announced Himself as the last Prophet. They murdered Him and they haven't declared a new Prophet since. Not one. What happened? What does that tell us?
They realized this around the 1300's ... *God doesn't speak to them anymore.*
We are God's Chosen now, those who surrender to Christ:
> Now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you. (Galatians 3:29)
> Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God. From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen. (Galatians 6:15-18)
God knows how weak and petty the Jews are as a people. They have always betrayed Him:
> And the Lord said to Samuel, *“Listen to the voice of the people [Jews] regarding all that they say to you, because they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being King over them. Like all the deeds which they have done since the day that I brought them up from Egypt even to this day—in that they have abandoned Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you as well.* ..." (1 Samuel 8:7-8)
The Jews are incapable of lifting their eyes up to Heaven because they're so transfixed on the petty perversions of this Earth.

THAT right there is the "big secret" that Gen Z learned quickly and it scares the shit out of the wealthy. *"Wait, these kids expect to get paid for running my business and making me wealthy?"* Haven't you noticed billionaires like Bezos and Buffett doing interviews telling young people that "envy is bad" and that "money isn't everything," that they should be happy with less? Yeah, wanting to get paid is "envy" now.
Boomers bought into the *work-till-you-die* bullshit, Millennials did too but then warned Gen Z early. Now all we hear is "young people are lazy."
It's true. I work on my own project, and my productivity has ups and downs. There are days where I am highly focused and do as much as I'd do in a week of work normally. Then there are days where I barely get anything done. It's hard to quantify how much work I am actually doing, but I sure sit here ~40-50 hours per week.

Still better than people who don't work like niggers have the 90 minute work week. Or the 0 minute work week. Jews don't work either, they just take credit and money from whites.

The first person I ever fired was black. I told the hiring manager to pass on him, but he wanted to "give him a chance." Sure, okay. The guy was always eating at his desk from day one and kept all his chicken scratch notes on paper, refusing to use the company CRM.
Even after explaining that it wasn't optional, he still refused to follow my directions. For one, the clients belong to the company, not to him. That means they need to be recorded on the company CRM. I also need to be able to track his productivity and follow up with his clients. The bum started giving me attitude that I should just let him do the job his way. I didn't say anything. I went right back to my desk, drafted the termination papers, hit "print" and picked them up on the way back to his desk. I wasn't going to let him get paid a full day by waiting until the end of the day.
Of course, he tried to play the race card. But worse is that he tried to get one of our established clients to Zelle money to him personally days after being terminated. That's when the owner of the business had to get involved and threatened the nigger with jail time if he contacted any of our clients again. After that incident, I was given the responsibility of hiring new staff. Obviously, we never hired another nigger again under my watch.
Niggers have destroyed the “work culture” at all but one job I’ve had in my life, and it was a at a golf course where I worked with, and dealt almost exclusively with whites all day.

As someone who used to work 12 hour shifts at a factory, 100% this. They would smoke joints in the bathroom. I worked with the machine operators so about 1/4 of my shift was waiting for the machine operator to get the machine set up to run the next project. And they were never in a hurry.
My favorite was when I worked on the machine that was as big as an entire room. The mechanic was an alcoholic who was always simply there for when the machine broke down, but he always only fixed it just enough so it worked and never did any preventative maintenance. There were several overnight shifts where I would crawl in a shipping box in the corner and sleep.
True. But think of all the holidays, paid sick leave, maternity leave, and holiday leave and holiday pay that government employees get. They're hardly in the office to begin with, and when they are, there's very little work getting done and it's all low productivity and old processes that they haven't improved upon or made more efficient in over a decade.
i've worked at startups and i've pulled 80 hour weeks many times. shit sucked. the pay was really good, but long term i would never do it. so, it does happen.
Working 80 hour weeks != saying I work 80 hour weeks
Occasional 80 hour weeks are real and happen, especially if there are strong incentives like at a start up. Only a few people do it consistently, though. 99% of everyone else can pull those for maybe a month max before they spin out.
Musk is saying Indians pull 80 hour work weeks more often than Whites which is why we should be replaced. If Musk wasn't a faggot he would know that the mythical 80 hour work week is 1. inhumane, and 2. only for people who have a ton of equity or deep incentives to make their project succeed.
