My SO is a supervisor at a healthcare facility. During a "very productive" 8 hour day she works about 4-5 hours and chats for the oyher 3-4. Some of the people she supervises seem to get away with doing as little as 3 hours of work per day, especially those whom are telecommuting.

I used to play a somewhat time-consuming video game online and most of the people in the clan I played with did so from their cubicles at work. We'd play for hours, and they got paid for it. They probably did about 2 or 3 hours of actual work and played the game the rest of the day.

This just blows my fucking mind always having worked jobs which required me to, you know, *actually work* the whole time.

Many mOOdern jobs are unnecessary, and nothing more than welfare and babysitters for adults now.

If you have ever worked on a farm or ranch as employed labour, you know there is no such thing as fucking around. You may shoot the shit, but that happens whilst working.

Exactly, bro. I have worked on farms and you know we're talking 14-16 hour days. I don't understand office culture one bit.
