In this week’s discussion we will take on the topic of home ownership. From an idealist point of view anything short of owning your own home is a cope. But for many owning a home is not something they see as being easily obtained. For the most part “getting” a house isn’t easy but the hardest things in life are the most worthwhile. The goal of this week is to encourage each other to own a home.
  
  
  
Discussion ideas:
* For independence sake how long should you rent before you get a mortgage?
* Should you play the mortgage game and move around until you have the “right” home for yourself (your family) or just save until you can find the “perfect” home?

People who opted to keep their passwords when deactivating accounts can now recover them. This does not bring back deleted content. Anything deleted is gone for good.
 
Password reset is now possible provided that you have configured a recovery email.
 
 
The recovery email is stored as a salted hash, in the same way as your password.

### What are some good web development resources?
 
I decided to pick up back end web development as a hobby/backup career and was wondering what it would take to work for a company like Gab or even this website.
 
I started watching videos from [Web Dev Simplified](https://www.youtube.com/c/WebDevSimplified) on YouTube, and there he suggested following an [education roadmap](https://roadmap.sh/backend) and doing projects. I have some ideas for projects but still feel like I'm in the exploration stage. I also saw a good [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79pKwdiqcwI) posted recently about making money in WebDev .
 
Is this a good enough starting point?
