Is it just me or is all this "ENTP" "INwhateverJ" "XYZZtopp" business just astrology for nerds?

Because I see those things get thrown around a lot, and usually by people who seem to know or care what their "IQ" is.

*I'm not even sure I have one*

I had to do that stupid personality test as part of my public high school education. It's entirely self reported. Even if the test taker is entirely self aware and honest, which is rarely the case, I still don't think it's useful.

It broadly categorizes personalities, and it does it well on a broad scale. But these people believe if they're an INTJ or whatever, that they neatly fit into that box

Like any personality or intelligence test it has to be vague and unscientific, or it's going to get phased out and undermined.

There's a reason my public high school was giving kids the Meyers Briggs and not a good old fashioned IQ test.

I sure don't fit neatly into a box. Depending on the day, I'm 3 different of those classifications. Always a TJ though. Hence it's not a reliable indicator of future behavior.

Midwits love to claim that they're INTJ's because they're the smart ones. Who said it's astrology for nerds? Cause it is.

If I had access to the personality type data of a demographic of people, I could do a lot with that information. Sales analytics is totally into that hocus pocus shit and it works for marketing and advertising.

The myers-briggs personality tests are psueudoscience. The big 5 are better. Also, IQ tests for adults are largely masturbation.

Iq tests for adults are imperative for understanding what someone is actually capable of and should be a part of every job interview

My hot take is that astrology is one of the final frontiers of understanding God better and it's very real. Lost ancient scientific knowledge.

At the same time I believe that most of what is known about astrology today, pushed by mainstream media and pandering to women's feelings, is another major Jewish op to mislead it's teachings and implications. They probably want to erase the true science of it and obscure it's history. Much like they do with everything to do with the ancient world. Make us have no reference point in the past, no reference point for good values, to curate a niggerfied future. Tangentially this is much like most film & games are being remade to subvert the culture of today.

Myers-Briggs definitely has been a useful tool for the Jewish corporate leadership to group people based on specific defining attributes. It's reallya religion in itself because of how it really promotes: "if someone is A, they must be B". Test was created by a mother and daughter team. Can't find out if they were Jewish but based on the " Myers" name I am a little suspicious.

Lastly I never believed or trusted in IQ tests because the concept of intelligence is not fully agreed on. To some it's pure calculation ability, to others it's creativity/memorization/obedience/problem solving with conditions, etc. I don't think a single test can capture one's true ability or potential. Definitely another scam to herd people down one lane or another

What's left of reddit is pathetic and nauseating. "I always thought I was a smart bum. This online iq test told me I'm actually just an average bum. This has shaken my identity, because I'd prefer for my lack of achievement to be self inflicted."

Iq tests online are also almost always scams created by retards (ironic) who have no experience in psychology whatsoever. The only people who usually have iq tests performed have them done for developmental reasons (ie their parents think they have autism) or after a brain injury. A vast majority of people have never had an actual iq test performed. But you don't need to have an iq profiling of someone to figure out if they're a retard, you can just tell. This redditor having to ask reddit whether or not some random ass iq test online is fake is proof enough that he is indeed a retard.

They also test gifted people. I was tested in the 3rd grade. It used to be a common part of school to try and seek out potentially gifted students and place them in specialized advanced classes.

I know, but I think that falls under developmental reasons. Although positively

Ya, I had one performed when I was younger and it was a fuckin' ordeal. Had to have it administered by a psychiatrist, took about 2 hours, you don't write anything down its all just timed exercises. I was roughly 13 and that was just one aspect of my "parents were overly worried about their son and mother is in medical"-isms. Had a psychologist and had to have an EEG performed. Anyway, ya whenever people say they "had their IQ tested" I am always suspicious because, as I said, it was quite the involved experience.

I won't go into it too much because I'm sure it'll be boring, but that whole test/series of events had lasting negative consequences on me as a person that I don't think anyone intended. But I guess it did help when I get to work with some of my patients when they have some of their own issues. Small silver lining.

IQ is a capacity for intelligence but

he still could be "gifted" intellectually even with an average IQ

We have a lot of high IQ "retards" (see: leftwing, or maybe our high IQ neocons?)

IQ tests are typically measuring just pattern recognition.

It’s simply one facet of cognition out of dozens.
Butttoucha9k on scored.co
21 days ago 1 point (+0 / -0 / +1Score on mirror )
Its comprehension testing. The ability to infer broader concepts from limited input. Its a critical thing, and most people cant understand why because they dumb. Knowledge tests see what you know. Iq tests see what youre capable of knowing.

I went and did the whole test. It's just fucking shapes and pattern recognition. No wonder a redditor got an average score lmao.

yeah it's easy as fuck until the last maybe three or four questions. having to fold a cube and fit 3d objects together was kind of tough but still doable. does eliminate midwits and tards though. people with IQs below about 85 physically can't imagine things in their head. midwits wouldn't be able to fit 3d objects together or find obvious easy-as-fuck patterns. almost every one was like reading a slot machine reel.

All IQ tests do is tell you how good you are at pattern recognition. Cogniprofile hides your shit from you at the end like all IQ tests do and demands money to tell you your score.

However if you're good at reading blurry numbers it tells you nothing you don't know. Also going into the script for the site reveals that it does save your answers and assign the amount of correct ones to an IQ score. Also seems to skip over certain numbers for some reason. I've printed what I received below for reference if anyone wants to read. It could ALSO estimate your score dynamically based on your results to each question because I do think I misread one or two near the end, but I highly doubt I have an IQ of 187.

{"1":{"startedAt":"2026-08-27T21:23:17.070Z","durationSec":2400,"answers":{"2":965,"4":16,"6":26,"7":35,"8":38,"9":44,"10":49,"11":55,"12":62,"13":76,"14":86,"15":87,"16":94,"17":100,"18":108,"19":114,"20":119,"22":131,"23":140,"24":144,"25":150,"26":158,"27":163,"28":175,"30":165,"32":209,"33":201,"34":195,"35":190,"36":187},"currentQuestion":30}}

Interesting, I ended up with the exact same score (187) at question 30 but a few of my values were off by one or two from yours throughout the test. One theory I would have for it skipping over some numbers is that maybe there is a question bank of more than 30 questions but those are the ones it gave you specifically. However, I also ended up getting the exact same set of questions as you, so I'm thinking it's probably not that. Unless they have like a small number of set permutations it gives you and just by chance we ended up getting the same set.

I think the more likely scenario is that the entire thing is fake and gay and a scam, and the reddit post in the image is just an ad to appeal to midwit redditors egos to get them to go to the site and go through the test and pay the money to "reveal" their results. At which point it spits out a random number between 130 and 160 so you walk away feeling good after failing the actual IQ test which is being scammed out of your money lol.

Interesting news. Your numbers being not identical tells me it probably really is a dynamic score estimate. Amazing how dumb the designers must be if they left this in.

I went and did it with random answers after Question 14 and got nearly identical results after clearing cookies. I don't think this is the actual score leaking through.
