You shouldn't be a libertarian, liberal, or conservative. These are political ideologies that should be studied and understood. You should not become them. Any of them. Same with religion. Be your own man.

Seems like he's already saying that, my man. He asked when we STOPPED being libertarian.
For me, I was a Civnat until my mid-twenties. I had a Jamaican friend that seemed like one of the "good ones". He hated liberalism, the LGBBQ, etc. This changed when the Floyd riots started. He joined the protests, and reposted a video of some White MAGA men getting beaten in the street. I realized he would ALWAYS walk in step with his race, and that I should too.
Buddy, the sooner you figure out that in this world that you're on your own the better. Your 'race' will not be coming to your rescue. Really close friends and some immediate family just might, but your race will be wiping it's ass with you. Same with your political party and religion. They are not for you. You are for them.
That's the whole point, buddy. You've lived in a broken society where "them" is an occupying force, rather than your own collective. Your reaction seems to be to retreat into salty boomer individualism, rather than fighting to break away from the occupier. I'm not waiting for anyone to "rescue" me. I know the score, and my life has been successful precisely because I have leaned into my family and community. We have duties and responsibilities to meet if we want to win.

I don't know that seems pretty libertarian dude.
Good luck out there.

To an extent. A failure to not align with fellows or want to persuade fellows will result in your demise
