> the entry into the United States of aliens as nonimmigrants to perform services in a specialty occupation under section 101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b) of the INA, 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b), is restricted, except for those aliens whose petitions are accompanied or supplemented by a payment of $100,000
I believe this is the relevant line. Is there documentation in 8 USC 1101 that dictates the terms of a “petition,” though? Does that refer to only a single person, or are there group “petitions”?
Read the Talmud long enough, you start to think like jews. It becomes important when trying to parse the laws they wrote for other countries.
In what way? This isn’t law. It will be repealed day one by the next administration. It doesn’t restrict nonwhites at all. All the big companies can easily afford 100k as though it’s pocket money. It’s now cheaper to hire infinity foreigners than to pay for benefits and salaries for actual citizens.
>per company
>not per head
Literally meaningless. They’ll save more now by hiring *even more* nonwhite foreigners than by hiring any actual people.
