> The entire reason Jesus died was so that you didn't need that middle men which went bad throughout history and lost the right to lead

So what did Jesus mean by this?

\>And I also say to you that you are Peter [petros], and on this rock [petra] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it

Was Jesus leaving a church with no leadership? That doesn't seem right. Clearly God understood the importance of the physical world and human leadership if He sent His only Son to be the High Priest. He knew He would die for mankind, so He chose Simon Peter to continue His work. So if Peter was/is the first leader of the Christian church in the form in which it existed for about 1,000 years (which is the root of Catholicism)... I don't see how you can say priests were a lost cause. God used prophets all through the Bible and never denounced them (the true prophets of course; false prophets are denounced everywhere).

Jesus ripped on the Pharisees and Sadducees because they basically jew'd the law - they would do things like, rather than caring for their parents in old age (honoring their father and mother), they would make a sacrifice and claim they did it for their parents so they wouldn't have to actually support their parents financially or whatever, and they paid their tithe at the same time. Seeking loopholes like modern jews do (like the fucking string around NYC). But He never ripped on anyone just for being a priest; He TOLD His disciples to go out and spread the Word!

You've got a lot of half right going in your response. You could even claim the Catholics are becoming a lot like the Pharisees and Sadducees (and therefore modern jews) in their obsession with procedure starting to overcome the focus on God... sort of. As James said, "faith without works is dead," so there *is* something to *how* we worship that matters. While *how* we worship is important, it's at least equally as important that we don't lose sight of *why* and *who* we're worshipping. I.e. the *how* is important because we shouldn't, y'know, perform blood sacrifices of our children even though our focus is on the one true God, because that's not what He wants. So that would be a perversion.

Anyway I don't mean to prattle on. You've got some salient points, but Christ absolutely endorsed the existence of religious authorities. From His own mouth personally (again, disciples, and again, "Upon this rock I will build my church") as well as all throughout the Bible.

\* So hey maybe instead of downvote brigading like a pRedditor you could, I don't know, refute anything I've said? Or are you just another viper from the den spreading half truths?

The Church was always going to go bad, he knew it was going to go bad, it was foretold that it would go bad. That is why the Church was always referred to as a woman and bride. She Babylon the Great became a harlot and had intercourse with kabbalah, judaism, the merchants of the Earth. They will mourn her because the Church allowed her the freedom to practice usury and to monopolize that usury. It is why the harlot says she is a QUEEN and not a WIDOW who is waiting for the king and high priest to return (Jesus). The harlot is destroyed by the first beast (jewish king) in Revelation. By destroying the Catholic Church they think they will have destroyed Christianity and that is when Jesus himself intervenes on behalf of the people who still follow him.

You DID need the Church at the foundation because you needed the bible canon, to throw away the works Satan and his followers, gnostics were desperately trying to include like Apocrypha, the idea that there was a holy royal line from Jesus that they could use to control and exploit.

The idea that the ancient Church resembled the modern Church though is fairy tale. When John is shown the modern Church in wealth and red and purple he is astounded and shocked.

The Church worked with the jews to even stop their competition who were wannabe kabbalah, two men on a horse faggot occult bankers called things like the Templars.

jews owe their current power to the Church. The Church should never allowed the "court jew", never allowed them to practice usury anywhere (and they did protect the people from this at one time). They were simply corrupted and became a whore.

Sure, the church was going to go bad, this is a fallen world and all, but it still was never a bad thing to have God's representatives on Earth (aka "middle men" as you put it).

>You DID need the Church at the foundation because you needed the bible canon

Wait, so "middle men" were needed until some arbitrary point? I dunno man, seems like the Bible you've read has probably several hundred "middle men" who have translated it into a language that you can understand. And if they're all corrupt, then necessarily so is your interpretation. Unless, of course, you've read the original Hebrew, Latin, Greek, and Aramaic texts. kek of course I know you haven't.

>The idea that the ancient Church resembled the modern Church though is fairy tale

I think literally 0 people believe this. The church in Jesus' time was different from the church in Moses' time, and no one thought it some profound observation to say so. It had evolved through interpretations from the prophets, kings (David in particular), exiles (particularly the exiles, when temple worship went away, particularly because Nebuchadnezzar destroyed it), etc.

You use a lot of words to say very little of substance. I guess I was wrong with my initial assessment. I don't think any of your words are worth half a damn.

When two are gathered in my name I am there.

Do not call yourself rabbi teacher and father.

You follow people who wear Cappello Romano Saturn worship hats, who enable and protect child predators and who try to validate the synagogue of Satan (Judaism).

You might as well be MAGA.
