After, eat meat and butter for two weeks, nothing more, only drink water. If this ends it and you feel better, add a vegetable, then add another, etc…

However, as someone who has been in a similar situation, I would recommend the following:
First and foremost, acknowledge your problem, but under no circumstances identify as someone who is irreparably damaged and doomed to fail.
Cut out anything or anyone that stresses you out (if you can).
This could mean ending a toxic friendship or relationship, or quitting a job you hate.
Take an extended break from the internet.
Maximising screen time will only exacerbate the issue.
Do not let your mind latch onto anything that makes you feel anxious, angry or sad. This includes entertaining passing/intrusive thoughts, as well as the media you consume.
Do not turn to substance abuse to cope, e.g. drugs, alcohol, nicotine etc.
