> We don't need or want anyone's approval. The sooner White Christians realize this the better.
That's what I'm saying. But first we need to STOP buying into this commercialization of Easter and get LOUD that we're not going to accept this obvious deflection/ distraction from the Passion of Christ and His Resurrection. They've been painting a false image of us and it needs to be corrected. We don't "need" retailers approval, but we still need to demand our respect. Their false projection of bunnies and chocolates is no less an attack on the Lamb and a slander on the Holy Spirit.

Yes, the early Church never asked Ceasar for permission to do anything that the Church had the authority to do. They were willing to risk persecution and death to do what they needed to survive. We have allowed the fear of death and persecution to paralyze us, which is why we keep on losing. We must adopt the martyr mindset: suffering and death are simply part of life, what matters is what we *do with them*.
For the record, you're talking to a [flat earth retard.](https://communities.win/c/Conspiracies/p/19Ae8fHv5I/how-many-sections-of-100-mile-fl/c) It's not even human, don't bother.

> Originating among German Lutherans, the "Easter Hare" originally evaluated whether children were good or disobedient at the start of the season of Eastertide, similar to Santa Claus's "naughty or nice" list.
The Protestant obsession with shielding their kids from difficult truths is why Protestantism ended up so toothless. Christians should be proud to display the crucifix and understand that suffering is part of the faith, not hide it in fear.
I think we can do both, have the bunny and have the cross. The key is to maybe tie things with easter bunnies with kids, to more serious subjects or symbols like a crucifix or Jesus' Passion.
Literal rabbits and other wildlife might become more active in spring, as a symbol of new life. Jesus' Resurrection is like the new life of springtime. The symbol of new physical life (bunny), being tied to new spiritual life (the resurrection cross with the cloth draped on it)
Maybe Lent and Advent could be made to be more "dark" of seasons, even for kids though. I'm aware of some older versions of Grimm's fairy tales which have dark themes (not sure if they were even intended for kids).
Yes. This is what happens when a subversive religion/people move in. They co-opt your native Vernal Equinox fertility celebrations and make it all about themselves and their self-proclaimed innocent victim.

I'm saying we need to stand up and demand the same respect, at a minimum.
But you're right: we *have* allowed the fear of persecution to paralyze us, which is why we keep on losing.
