Yes, the early Church never asked Ceasar for permission to do anything that the Church had the authority to do. They were willing to risk persecution and death to do what they needed to survive. We have allowed the fear of death and persecution to paralyze us, which is why we keep on losing. We must adopt the martyr mindset: suffering and death are simply part of life, what matters is what we *do with them*.
I'm saying we need to stand up and demand the same respect, at a minimum.
