That depends on where you look. Andalusia has a large percentage of north african and Semitic blood because of the Muslim invasion. Castille not so much. There are white Argentinians and brown Spaniards its more about the family line than nationality

Andalusia, I’ll grant you, *seems* believable simply because it was the last segment of the Reconquista. However, [the genetic record doesn’t seem to support it.](https://i.postimg.cc/mLXxzzT4/PCA-Caucasoid.png) Spaniards of all stripes cluster quite far away from even Tuscans, which only some Murcian Spaniards approach. "North Africa” genes–even Moroccan–are well removed from them.
They are also very family oriented and community oriented which probably minimized the admixing more than in other places. But that's why I'm sayings it's about the personal genetics more than the "label".
Probably yes. They are white mexican(primarily Spanish blood, not indigenous). Culturally she didn't even speak Spanish as a child.
