Man i used to own so many shares of AMD 15 years ago when the stock price was flat. Sold it all because i got tired of flat stock price.

Now AMD skyrocketed and Intel tanked and might get bought out.

It is worrisome that AMD/Intel/Nvidia have such a huge monopoly over chips

Also worrisome that Amazon holds 40% market-share of all e-commerce in the USA. The next closest is walmart with only about 7%

Keep in mind that you only really need x86 for gaming nowadays, if you don't intend to game on your PC you might as well buy a RISC processor such as ARM, no fuckery and an open platform with many different manufacturers, including many European ones without spyware.

RISC processors doesn't have anything like IME (((israel inside))), just raw cores at a very affordable price, often more cores than intel and AMD too, but these cores will run at a lower frequency so it's mostly useful for multi threaded applications. They also don't get warn and is very energy efficient which is a huge plus in many scenarios.

Sounds like (((propaganda))), they even have a screenshot of how to turn of IME (((israel inside))) in bios, something you can only really do with specialized firmware.

It's basically AMD releasing an ASIC GPU, which is optimized for AI. This is good for energy consumption as well as availability for regular GPUs for other purposes. However, it's a valid fear that at some point in the future this AI ASIC chip could be implemented similar to IME (((israel inside))) and used to spy on data processed by the GPU.

Kind of makes sense to implement it that way as GPUs process tremendous amounts of data, and most of it is just game logic anyway so you'll need a lot more computation power, and AI to spy on that, maybe extract text from images, similar to how pajeetsoft windows recently tried to implement AI spyware that took a screenshot of your screen every few seconds, with AI then extracting any text from that screenshot and saving it as plaintext on your disk for searches. A forensic wet dream in other words.

So, if this becomes a standard feature on future GPUs they could basically run pajeetsoft windows spyware on any OS because the theft happens before you even see the text on your display.

I'd say, buy some older gen GPUs now and keep them. Performance wise nothing new happens anyway. We already reached the peak and game devs knows this as well. The future is in upscaling so you won't need a better GPU than what you already have.

The People uploaded and curated the data, then the AI is used to create a barrier between you and the data.

Your owners just enslaved you without you even knowing.

I used to meekly defend AI (art) because of some moderately compelling arguments that I'd heard, that it's not necessarily theft of other artists considering how its constructed/created. Now? My timeline on the only other social media site I use (Gab), is a near constant stream of AI slop photos, that always get tons of likes. It's all fake and gay, and everything AI can be thrown into the fire. It's defense and use is becoming yet another hallmark of evil and idiots still plugged into the system, like with Covid, vaccines, food, porn, TV, Democrat vs Republican, race blindness, dispensationalist Christianity, Israel, WW2, Nazis, and jews. A person's views on these topics near universally tells you everything else about that person, down to the smallest minutiae of their beliefs, habits, word use, and mindset.
