Sounds like (((propaganda))), they even have a screenshot of how to turn of IME (((israel inside))) in bios, something you can only really do with specialized firmware.
It's basically AMD releasing an ASIC GPU, which is optimized for AI. This is good for energy consumption as well as availability for regular GPUs for other purposes. However, it's a valid fear that at some point in the future this AI ASIC chip could be implemented similar to IME (((israel inside))) and used to spy on data processed by the GPU.
Kind of makes sense to implement it that way as GPUs process tremendous amounts of data, and most of it is just game logic anyway so you'll need a lot more computation power, and AI to spy on that, maybe extract text from images, similar to how pajeetsoft windows recently tried to implement AI spyware that took a screenshot of your screen every few seconds, with AI then extracting any text from that screenshot and saving it as plaintext on your disk for searches. A forensic wet dream in other words.
So, if this becomes a standard feature on future GPUs they could basically run pajeetsoft windows spyware on any OS because the theft happens before you even see the text on your display.
I'd say, buy some older gen GPUs now and keep them. Performance wise nothing new happens anyway. We already reached the peak and game devs knows this as well. The future is in upscaling so you won't need a better GPU than what you already have.
