I'd like to get the update to see if they eventually sued the town council.

If this is the one that happened early last year, the very next meeting everyone including the sheriff and the officer who nade the illegal detainment and "totally not an actual arrest even though he removed them from the area but it totally wasn't an arrest without charges and illegitimate in the first place because it was a violation of civil rights" were served with a civil right violation lawsuit by the lawyer. Some of the board members ran away and abandoned the meeting while some of those who remained would not touch the paperwork when the lawyer legally served them with it.

So what happens if they don’t touch the paperwork? I mean whats the next step for the lawyer? I doubt they can just ignore it and get away with it?

The lawyer uses a guy who specializes in serving papers (a process server), who will wear a disguise like a fedex outfit or whatever in order to deliver the papers to the people being served. Once he gets them to touch the papers, they have no choice but to show for court, otherwise they’re breaking the law. Then the lawyer can sue the shit out of them.

I'm sure they did. Lawyers sue people for fun. It's not a big deal.

That mayor has a home.

That mayor drives to work with illegal tint granted to him by the state.

That mayor shops locally.

That mayor eats at local restaurants.

That mayor has fears.

That mayor can be tickled.

We must show these people the power of gang stalking and autism.

Nevermind who they work for. They stopped working for us a long, long time ago. That fight can't even really begin - *yet.*

That sheriff sure knows who he works for.

As does that bailiff. And the rest of those officers.

What a couple of arrogant dumbfucks. That absolutely was disruptive behavior and the language they used was abusive, and in the context it's clear they they intended it to be perceived as a personal attack. If I'm in a bar and I call the guy sitting next to me a son of a bitch, depending on who it is, I might get my nose flattened. I might get thrown out of the bar. But no one is going to come my defense saying that the language I used was my right to free expression.

They went there to insult the city council and the mayor. They could have said their piece without the insults, but they chose not to. They abused their right to free expression and were correctly remove from the forum. Fuck those guys.

Fuck those guys? Does that mean they get to flatten your nose now?

Americans can say whatever the fuck they want, in any manner, to whomever! With that said, why don't you go fuck yourself?

No one "gets" to flatten anyone's nose, idiot, but it's a consequence of using abusive speech in a context that doesn't require it -- and it's almost never required. I saw you made a bunch of posts this morning, several in a row in fact, and judging by your behavior, I have no interest in ever reading anything you say. Back atcha, slim ... go fuck yourself too.

I’d argue that the first amendment is designed to protect your speech from this exact situation. It wasn’t designed to protect popular speech. It wasn’t designed to protect you from getting your ass beat by some other citizen for disrespecting that person, since clearly our own statesmen used to duel with other men regularly over blatant shows of disrespect, although the law would disagree with that now. In reality, the 1st amendment was specifically designed to protect the citizen’s right to criticize government officials, their use of power and their corruption.

I don't care. Everyone who has commented here is a child. There's no such thing as absolute free speech, and those two idiots at the city council meeting were taken away because they were being disruptive. They discovered they could shout insults at the mayor and the council. Who cares? What was their point, other than that they didn't like the mayor and the council? They were acting like children and deserved to be put in time out, and the fact that you're cheering these two bad mannered children tells me that you're all children too.

I notice how much personal invective you all use toward me to express your disagreement. If you believe insults are equivalent to reason and argument, you're no better than brain dead liberals.

> I might get my nose flattened.

That's battery and a crime. He'll go to jail, you won't.

>I might get thrown out of the bar.

A bar is private property. A town council meeting is public.

>They went there to insult the city council and the mayor.

So what.

>They abused their right to free expression.

No such thing.

You're a fucking retard.
