I think he's trolling. Doubt he's actually looking for a woman. Probably just wants to crush hopes and dreams.

A worthwhile endeavor.

That's about $1,500 per week. Probably more than most of us make on this forum. I rarely pull in that much per week. On a good week.

Not hard to believe. I'm just interested in what is paying good. I'm probably in the wrong line of work.

I hope you're living in a a Low Cost of Living City. Here in Toronto aka Moronto, $100k is the poverty line. I hear in Jew York $250k is a very average salary.
Brannvesen on scored.co
1 year ago 5 points (+0 / -0 / +5Score on mirror ) 1 child
In jew york you need to earn at least $250k to keep up with the basic costs of living. However most people living there don't earn that much. This is why homelessness is rampant, and why a lot of people share small apartments with strangers.

Only way to get low cost apartments is to dispose of the (((slumlords))) and have the city itself become a landlord through a non profit. I used to live in such city back in the days, 100% white and only $500/mo rent for a 4 bedroom house with a double garage.
Vlad_The_Impaler on scored.co
1 year ago 0 points (+0 / -0 ) 1 child
$500 a month doesn't cover property taxes, maintenance, insurance. Not realistic today.

A landlord has to charge $500 a month just to break even on the high property taxes for rental properties.
Brannvesen on scored.co
1 year ago 0 points (+0 / -0 ) 1 child
(((Property tax))) is theft, like unrealized gains tax. It's only purpose is to force you to sell what you own to afford the tax, which literally means the end of private ownership.

Without property taxes $500/mo is not a problem. The city landlord is still around, still offering properties for that price and still making millions in profit every year, while renovating a lot of the housing stock.

How come America of all countries tolerate such high property taxes?

$300-$400k is the bare minimum to live a “comfortable life”, $600k to live like a boomer did 40-50 years ago. $1m is what a $100k salary was 40-50 years ago. Even then it feels not enough in this jewed country.
Brannvesen on scored.co
1 year ago 3 points (+0 / -0 / +3Score on mirror )
Since you'd probably need to work more than 40 hours per week to earn that much, you'd also never get to enjoy all the comforts of life you worked so hard to pay for. That is also a huge shame.

It is now to live “middle class” in many, if not most places in the USI, but just 10 years ago, you could live comfortably most places in this country still, especially if you were single and didn’t have and dependents. It’s really sad.

the problem with this is that all the salty bitches will hard left swipe you. some will even report you. even if you don't get banned, you get deranked so hard you might as well be invisible on the app... shouldn't even use it at that point.

this is a misunderstanding of how dating apps work.

every person has a rating based mostly on left-to-right swipe ratio of other people. the tinder algorithm ROUGHLY shows you people around your rating. the problem is that tinder is a total sausage fest, something like 4:1 men to women, so reach is already decimated. for every swipe does, an equally swiping girl has to swipe 4x for her to see him... and they just don't. women don't swipe nearly as much as men, so even before talking about his profile or his looks, he's already at something like a 40:1 disadvantage on tinder.

even if the crazies swipe right on him in the beginning, when all the rest of the losers he's calling out are swiping left on him, his ELO dives down into the dregs, and practically no one will even see his profile to swipe on him. and at that point, he could literally offer a million dollars just to match and no one will match him because they don't even see his profile.

Dating apps have been spammed into dysfunction.

I actually met a really great girl on a dating-ish kind of service back in college before dating apps, when smart phones were just burgeoning. And in another life if I hadn't been young and retarded it may have actually ended up in marriage.

But that was before the online culture became as toxic as it is. Pre porn hub, pre only fans, pre Instagram even. Basically it was Facebook only when you still needed a college email.

Anyway, I've read that the average guy will get 1 "hit" for every 200-250 views (sorry I don't know the lingo) and for every hit, 3/4 women will ghost the guy online or even stand him up for a date. So really it takes anywhere from 800-1000 views to get ONE date where the chick actually shows up.

Imagine how demoralizing that is. I can't believe men put up with that.

Then oddly similar I hear is the current job hunt process. I've heard of people applying to literally hundreds of jobs in a single round of unemployment. Is this really a thing? I think the most I ever applied for at a time was 4. This was in the early 2010s.

Everything is just spammy.
A million applications to get one interview.
A million swipes to get one date.
A million shows to watch but people spend hours doom scrolling.

The current world sounds like hell.

it's modern female toxicity meets big tech enshitification...

survey after survey shows that most women on dating apps don't even want a date... they just want validation and attention. of those who are on apps, they will regularly double or triple book dates, and then just show up to the guy they're most attracted to. they flake out on the others without even mentioning they're cancelling. all because there's no downside to engaging in such toxic behavior. they're never held to account for it.

then enshitification comes in. match group owns practically all of the dating apps now, and they hired researchers to change the app mechanics to intentionally drag everything out, string you along as long as possible. they want you thirsty and desperate enough that you will pay, but never satisfied by a date enough that you two actually hit it off.

> Then oddly similar I hear is the current job hunt process. I've heard of people applying to literally hundreds of jobs

I put out nearly 400 applications for my current position in the span of a couple weeks. I applied to every open position on the big three that had my keywords and met my salary requirement. I didn't even read the posts unless they responded favorably.

I actually had to coach a few friends of mine through this too - volume is key these days.
Maskurbator on scored.co
1 year ago 1 point (+0 / -0 / +1Score on mirror )
Volume may be the solution to the problem volume created.

When every job hunter is applying for 100 jobs, it makes the labor pool expand, which means employers are pickier.

It's the same problem with colleges. Each HS kid is applying to 12 schools so the demand at any individual school is 12x greater than it rightfully should be, so the schools charge absurd tuition.

People watered the tree that they would eventually hang from.

Same. And it’s extra infuriating when you have a bunch of promoted posts on LinkedIn from Pajeets telling you it’s *not* a numbers game & to tailor your resume & interview skills.

Like, bitch, you’re getting hired because you’re asking for a third of the wage I am for the same job I’m actually good at. Go back home!
covok48 on scored.co

Yes, the job market is that bad. I *have a job* and I’ve sent 300+ resumes so far and average 2 interviews (phone/person) per month.

We are in a recession & have been for 2 years at least.
Brannvesen on scored.co
1 year ago 1 point (+0 / -0 / +1Score on mirror )
It may be censored on the app itself, which is terrible if he were actually looking for a date. (((Ranking))) aside, someone will screenshot it and post it to plebbit so this particular profile will be spread to those who needs to see it at least.
