Vampire-like myths existed in Europe for years, and they were filled with jew stereotypes. Bram Stoker decided to co-opt and modify the historical Dracula into his fictional vampire story simply because he was an exotic figure to his English audience. After Bram Stoker, existing vampire mythology became conflated with Dracula mythology. I don't think this was intentional; it just kinda happened.

Are ashkenazi jewish people European or some weird admixture? The left paints them out to be white supremacists that are mass murdering indigenous people from Palestine, but they aren't originally from Europe.

ORIGINAL EDITION. Koestler advances the thesis that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the historical Israelites of antiquity, but from Khazars, a Turkic people originating in and populating an empire north of and between the Black Sea and Caspian Sea. Koestler's hypothesis is that the Khazars - who converted to Judaism in the 8th century - migrated westwards into current Eastern Europe (primarily Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, Hungary and Germany) in the 12th and 13th centuries when the Khazar Empire was collapsing.

From what I have read they came about from the Roman empire. The ashkenazis have close DNA with certain Italians. After the collapse of Roman empire they moved westward to England which famously had the Jewish expulsion around 1200s. They moved onto France which expelled them shortly after around 1400s. Then they moved to eastern Europe where they repopulated for centuries.
The Ashkenazim definitely have some european in them, I high doubt they are semites, unless the semites were actually arayans, in which case all whites would be semites.
Well sort of, based on my research they are 50% Levantine (or some Middle Eastern) and 50% European, (as well as Central Asian lineages). This makes sense given some of their features and diverse phenotypes (curly hair, hooked nose, some have mongoloid eyes, etc) It also makes since they are nomadic so they live in different places, perhaps absorbing some genes from those places, but they also inbreed within their communities to keep their culture (and wealth).
