Well sort of, based on my research they are 50% Levantine (or some Middle Eastern) and 50% European, (as well as Central Asian lineages). This makes sense given some of their features and diverse phenotypes (curly hair, hooked nose, some have mongoloid eyes, etc) It also makes since they are nomadic so they live in different places, perhaps absorbing some genes from those places, but they also inbreed within their communities to keep their culture (and wealth).
