I'll make the argument that mexican cuisine is the penultimate worst overall cuisine in the world, right behind pajeet food.
Near every dish is mush with a one note paste consistency. Every dish gets served with a side of month old tortilla chips because it's the only thing that gives their cuisine texture.
My wife is a big fan of mexican and I can't stand it. It's one of the few things we disagree on. I hate eating it.
There I just listed the ingredients for almost every single mexican food. Oh, but they wrapped it up differently so that makes it a new specific dish. No it does not.
Gordita: Meat, beans, and cheese stuffed into a puffed flour tortilla.
Sopis: Meat, beans, and cheese plopped on a thick flour tortilla.
Chimmichanga: Meat, beans and cheese, wrapped in a deep fried tortilla.
