Because it's retarded. It's pseudo science that lillypads from one fragment of information to another in order to keep one step ahead of how ridiculous it all is.
It's like someone coming along and trying to convince you water isn't actually wet, your brain just "interprets" it as wet. It's actually acid, but because of the bacterium that live in your skin and the Ectodermal Resonance Barrier (ERB), it feels like water and you can drink it.
Regardless... does it actually change anything? Do you not have to get up for work tomorrow because the Earth is flat? Do you still use water to bathe and drink?

If it didn't change anything then why get so upset? People act like their entire ability to deal with reality is threatened if it turns out the earth isn't a globe spinning thousands of miles per hour going 66,600 mph around the sun. But let's not question it because fLeRf! The moon landing is fake. The footage from international space station is fake. But 100% believe the earth is a ball in the darkness of infinite space because NASA and SoyEnce lies about everything else except this?
If it's so easy to debunk flat Earth then copy and paste the counterpoints or absolutely convincing evidence earth is globe.
I'm not even a flat Earth believer. But I consider it. I entertain the theories. I see flat earthers get censored and banned and that only increased my curiosity. Discussion should be allowed as long as it doesn't hijack the entire forum or get flooded.
I encourage everyone to at least question the globe earth theory and give fair consideration and research to alternate theories. If that leads you back to accepting globe theory, like me, then fine. But don't just reject the possibility of alternate theory outright. Because isn't that what we suffer all the time? We try to explain to a family member or friend that it's the jews and they won't even hear us out? They won't even consider it? We try to explain to our friends that Trump is a fraud and they won't consider it? We try to explain to people we took the wrong side in WW2 and they won't consider it?
I don't know what shape the earth is. But here are some related things that I know:
We've been lied to about the government being in space and on the moon. Fake moon landings and fake footage from space stations.
If government has been to space, they aren't telling us all the truth about it. Maybe not being truthful at all.
All the information about satellite tech is questionable. For example I believe most Internet and data is transferred via underwater cables stretching across the ocean floors. Not via satellites line we were told.
The sun might not be what we are being told it is. We are told it's a nuclear furnace. What if that's not what it really is?
NASA claims they lost the technology to get back to the moon and came up with some bogus excuse why they lost the telemetry data.
The government wants people to believe they have more power and destructive force than they actually do. If you believe the government can shoot you with lasers from space, you're never going to fight back.
Would the government lie to you about the shape of the earth or maybe areas of the earth that they PURPOSELY leave off maps? Of course they would.
Question everything. People write books and educational curriculum and write scientific papers and people are liars and have agendas or don't work for themselves but on behalf of a propaganda system.
Don't believe the earth is a globe just because of 17 years of government funded education and government approved curriculum and Hollywood jew movies with spinning globe introduction to every film and star wars and star trek and other fantasy depictions of space.

Satellites are real and can transmit data. Ocean floor cable is also real and we've been laying it since before WWII. I would also agree that a majority of data is transmitted through cable, not satellite.
This specific issue is more attributed to peoples ignorance though. It's not like there's a bunch of pseudo science surrounding either method. Both are documented and work.
