Satellites are real and can transmit data. Ocean floor cable is also real and we've been laying it since before WWII. I would also agree that a majority of data is transmitted through cable, not satellite.
This specific issue is more attributed to peoples ignorance though. It's not like there's a bunch of pseudo science surrounding either method. Both are documented and work.

All flat earthers need to go 150% in on the jayque. It would accomplish a hell of a lot more. They can then use their ethnostate to build rockets and check for themselves.
