I’ve personally have stopped buying fast food slop awile ago. It’s not so much the price and quality it’s the danger of food being prepared mainly by non Whites.

This. My favorite family owned deli shut down 2 years ago and now the best hoagies I can get are from Get Go. I only get them when I work on a weekend.

It’s crazy how your body will totally reject it after not having it for a while

Same. I used to pick up some burgers at a local Wendy's as something quick and pleasant. I lost my taste for that after the staff browned. At the time I wanted to believe it was different, but the packaging became rumpled, the food luke-warm. I asked myself seriously, "if they can't be bothered to do simple things, will they really be responsible and hygienic" and the obvious answer was "no".

I get to have a lot less burgers than I used to, since when I'm cooking I much prefer big pot dishes that make lots of servings per minute spent, but at least the burgers I do get are good and clean.
