Came to say this. This is how I'd picture a simple, cheap and easy to maintain vehicle. No fuckery, no spyware, no loicense, no registration, no taxes. Just two wheels a seat and a frame. It's perfect.

Yeah i want one. Unfortunately, just like the niggas, I dont know how to weld. But how hard can it be? Looks easy. Yeah I think Ill take up welding.

It's not hard at all, get a little flux core welder and make sure you use a respirator and welding mask and you're good.

Expect to make ugly welds at first, so start on scrap metal that's pretty flat and try to focus on making a straight even weld bead that doesn't make too much in the way of spatter. Once you can do that, look up charts for varying thicknesses and the settings to use and start trying to weld bits of steel together. Mild steel is easier to weld, dont try aluminum until you're very comfortable welding in general.

I've never done aluminum welding, but I've seen it done and it's hard as hell to do it right, from what I hear.

MIG welding's incredibly easy, especially if you don't care if your welds look like crap or not. The hardest part is turning on the machine and dialing in the settings. Other than that you just point, shoot, and make sure you didn't forget to turn on the gas. I've heard old-fashioned stick welding's even easier, but MIG is all I've ever done.

I would use a proper bike tyre at least, way bigger contact patch for the rear.

Maybe a tricycle, with some studded bike tires for the winter driving. Top speed somewhere in between 50-80km/h.

It has a seat better than any normal bicycle seat. And it moves you around. Seems both comfortable and useful.

Kind of. I have no idea why the drive wheel is the FRONT though, when it has way less traction than the back.

My guess would be to keep the rear wheel's traction from lifting up the front wheel when too much power is applied to the motor.

Yeah but wheelies are fucking awesome.

Not so much when you lose control and land on your back with the bike on top of you.
