Yes, I understand that someone decided to take action and because of their actions Charlie Kirk is dead. Obviously, hang the bastard in the public square. Put him on a pike at UVU and let the world know we do not allow this sort of behavior for all time and eternity.
But ultimately, Charlie Kirk was responsible for Charlie Kirk's safety. And he failed.
Let me describe the numerous ways he failed so that you don't make the same mistake.
1. Thinking that you can have a non-violent "debate" with a leftist. There is no debating these lunatics. You do NOT try to persuade them. You protect yourself from them.
Let me spell it out for those of you in the back. If you see a leftist, you do not go up to him and say, "I disagree with you. Let's talk about it."
No, you treat them like a rabid animal. Keep your distance from them. If they approach you, treat it like a violent threat. If they have weapons, you must have weapons and you must deal with their threat seriously.
I see too many videos of people going to protests while being unarmed. They encounter leftists, and next thing you know they're getting attacked and swarmed. Folks, don't be stupid. They are going to attack you. You must carry weapons with you and you must travel in groups. When someone violently attacks you, you do not measure the response and think, "Oh, they used 7.5 units of violence, so I must not use more than that." No, you say "My life is in danger, now it is time to deploy 100% of everything I have to protect it."
Think about them the same way you think about walking trails in the forest where there are cougars and bears. You do not see a bear lumbering towards you and think, "Oh no, I must engage with persuasion and wit!" You do not think, "I can wrestle him!" No, you take the threat seriously and behave accordingly. Shoot with your biggest gun. Target the sensitive areas. Don't let the bear get close enough that he can touch you!
2. He forgot, it seems, that rifles exist. If he understood rifles and how they worked, he would never have appeared in public once anyone made a threat. Instead, he would understand that he would have to put himself and his family out of the public eye until ALL the threats are dealt with.
This is something that drives me nuts. Someone posts online, "I'm going to kill X!" and then "X" runs around as if nothing happened.
No, if someone said, "I'm going to kill you!" I'm going to take that threat very seriously. That means I need to find the threat first and deal with it before they can deal with me. Rifles exist. Bombs exist. Anthrax is real. These things are not impossible to get ahold of, ESPECIALLY on a college campus where "GUNS ARE NOT ALLOWED!"
We in the USA have tolerated leftists for far too long. New policy: When someone says "Punch a nazi!" and you figure out "Everyone who isn't left of Lenin is a nazi!" you HAVE TO PUT THEM IN JAIL FOR LIFE. You MUST disarm them and isolate them from society. They CANNOT be tolerated in the public. These people can get a hold of a rifle, or a bomb, and act out their threats, and there's 10,000 ways they can get to you, so you need to understand that the threats must be eliminated, one-by-one if needed.
3. Thinking that the government does its job. If anything, it is clear that the government has been actively working against our people in every imaginable way. The government agents who threw open the gates to illegal immigration, who threatened to destroy people for not going along with their marxist nonsense, etc and so forth, are very real and they have access to some terrifying things.
The key here is government should be all but INEPT in every area. We shouldn't have a standing military at all. Instead, the government should be forced to ask regular Americans to muster if they want something military done.
Our political platform should be really simple: Government gets NOTHING. The people get EVERYTHING. We don't want to have anyone do anything in the government. Except, maybe perhaps, behave as a honeypot and tarbaby against psychopaths.
The US government system works because it is broken by default. Let me repeat: AS long as the government is broken, WE WIN. I don't want anyone to fix it. I want it to collapse under its own weight, powerless to do anything at all, even something so simple as tying one's own shoe-laces.
IN SUMMARY:
You MUST NOT DEBATE LEFTISTS. You MUST treat them like the threat they are. And you MUST NOT TRUST THE GOVERNMENT EVER.
Those of us who understand these things are still alive. We live our lives in a certain way to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the commies running this country. And we don't want them knowing who we are or where we live or anything about us except that we have lots of guns and ammo and we like to use them.
