A few years ago ALDI still sold premmade salad dressing which was made with olive.oil, cream, and vegetables. A couple years ago it suddenly one month all became soybean oil, HFCS, and "flavors".

They also changed their cottage cheese to be GMO with synthetic preservatives. It feels slimy now rather than creamy. Had to switch to Daisy because even the local Turner's went goyslop.

And stopped selling Braunschweiger all together.

In Pittsburgh there used to be a dispensary catecorner from a daycare on Baum in ELib. Just past the Wendy's.

Vape shops in the US are absolutely blinding while driving at night through any town or city. Cruising along to be struck by a fucking quasar, it's worse than being tailgated by dickheads with their high beams on and there's like 50 of them per square mile, half of them will be closed and they still leave their energy-weapons-disguised-as-signs on anyways, quite possibly out of spite. I think they're attempting to put the sun out of business, and they're doing a pretty damned good job of it.

Is this a new thing? It wasn't like that *before* I left the US. I noticed when I went to visit family on vacation after 6 years of not being there. What gives? Why is this a thing now? Even as recently as 2020 most of the vape shops had the common courtesy of having reasonable signage and turning their shit off after closing time. Is it because pakis and jeets run these things now instead of Yemenis?
