Loving your enemy doesnt mean enabling him either. Sometimes loving your enemy requires fighting against him. The way I see it, we can love others (hope for their salvation) and still oppose them when they are doing evil. If you love someone then you want the best for them, and that can still be consistent with opposing their actions. Letting someone get away with sin doesn't do them any favors.

Of course He saw it coming. He specifically said these things would happen, and He gave us the free will to let it happen or to prevent it from happening.
