I'll give you that "1%". My buddy (White) had one that I had been around and dogsat for since he was a puppy, he'd lay on my chest and anyone that got near he'd viciously bear his teeth and growl at and was very protective of me and I wasn'teven his owner. Overall I thought he was "different" than the rest as all evidence up until that point had supported this theory. Then one time I was dogsitting him and was about to walk into another room and forgot something so I turned around now knowing he was on the sofa behind me and my hand hit him on the side of his snout. Not hard just, the back of a hand hitting something with just the force you could imagine a limp hand could hit with 12" of centrifugal motion. Anyway, a switch flipped and I have never actually been scared of a dog in my life until that point. I tried to step closer and "apologize" and he only got more pissed. I actually grabbed my dog and just left my apartment for a walk. When I came back he was happy as could be like nothing happened. I never let him sleep in bed with me again after that.
