Sometimes I need Ebony wood for small parts like cabinet pulls. Ebony is extremely expensive so instead of going the normal route I go on eBay and buy a used African sculpture and cut it into my parts. I get it for at least 50% off and I have the added bonus of keeping some nigger “art” off the streets.

You could also possibly approach a construction crew and ask about scrap wood. There is so much that just goes to get recycled on a daily basis.

lol I’ll have to tell my bro that hack, he’s a luthier on the side so he needs the wood for building guitars, and I know he uses ebony on occasion. The only problem is, the pieces he needs are usually pretty big.
