Doesn't work. They're designed to be anti-vandalism, and they are robust to smashing, lasers, acetone spray (or other solvents). I tested all of these things.
The correct solution is to cut them down. It is faster to bring a small ladder and cut the hose clamps holding them on - the back of the camera has a small bracket and the installer just hose-clamps that bracket to the pole.

Cameras can only record what happened. If some asshole crashed his car into yours and fled, wouldn’t you want footage of that? Plus I think it helps ICE, if so….🤘

These aren't just surveillance cameras. These only take pictures of the license plates that go by. These are put into a database that is then studied by AI and the data reveals who is going where and doing what. It is the database that is the problem. It will absolutely be used for future lockdowns and other horrors beyond comprehension.

I am surprised at how little circuitry is in the basic cameras. They're mostly air. They do have a sim card, which is how they call home.
I'd say 'don't bring your phone', but only a nonwhite would bring their phone to such an activity anyway.
