Doesn't work. They're designed to be anti-vandalism, and they are robust to smashing, lasers, acetone spray (or other solvents). I tested all of these things.
The correct solution is to cut them down. It is faster to bring a small ladder and cut the hose clamps holding them on - the back of the camera has a small bracket and the installer just hose-clamps that bracket to the pole.
