I don’t consider that a gym, nor “working out”. That’s skill building IMHO, and I agree. With that said, many places are disgusting now, and allow too many nons now. Better off working on things with at least one fren. Ringworm, and other things is legit. It’s all basically useless in the street anyway. Just my opinion. SPRAY, AND BANG is for the streets. I’m not rolling on the ground with some diseased non.

This is not true at all. If you do not know how to fight or handle yourself when you get punched you are going to lose.

If you’re getting punched on the street, you’ve already failed, and lost in my eyes, because that means if you got punched, you could have been stabbed too. With that said, “handle yourself” is a catch all phrase, and 90% of normies, and NPCs would say, and think they know how to “handle themselves”.

I'd say the main benefits to regular sparring are distance and situational awareness.

Knowing how close someone has to be to hit you, and being able to read when they're moving in, are important in every interaction.

Likewise, knowing the difference between someone tweaking out and actually preparing to attack you.
