Yeah there are actual people who believe it. Most of them argue based on psychology, trying to swing big words to explain how mislead, brainwashed and stupid you are, or dismiss basically all evidence that goes counter to them (eh it's jews, therefore dismissed). Even when I point out that the heliocentric model was created over 2 millennia ago and followed and expanded by White Aryan geniuses, they just ignore it.

Only the fewest of them actually argue about substance, and even then it was about a formula which had a mass multiplier related to the speed of light, which would have been a decent argument if it wouldn't be based on a lack of understanding of it. Otherwise they bring up nothing of substance ever.

But here comes the fun part: Even if via extreme effort you can convince a singular flat Earther that he is wrong, it will have no effects on the others. It will rather reinforce their flat Earth beliefs and consider that person a lost cause. There is NOTHING you can bring up, no argument, evidence or proof that can change their minds on a large scale. Nothing.

I've conversed with a lot of flat Earthers by now, it's always the same. The same hopeless cause.
