This is partly thrown off by the Orthodox jews who really do pop out a dozen kids like the Mormons or Amish. 25% of Israel's population is this group. Imagine the birthrate if America was 1/4 Amish.

Also, while race-targeted superdiseases have been possible for a while, it seems that it was trickier to engineer an "angel of death" disease that would spare Ashkenazis exclusively. What I'm saying is, they haven't had their fertility impacted by spike proteins.
