Es ist ganz ok deutsch zu reden. Keine Ahnung was die leute immer haben. Es gibt recht viele Menschen in Europa die deutsch reden, und es ist nicht gerade eine Tragödie.

I think it's a scare tactic. Saying if the west lost ww2, we'd all be speaking German.
