I just looked up a list of movies that came out in 1999. There's movie after movie that was just great. Something you can revisit later and it's still good.

Why did the Matrix point to that year as the peak?

90s America was like the day you're partying and eating your fat thanksgiving dinner, and 2000s on america is when you go to the hospital the next day puking blood and find out its because you've had stomach cancer for years and didn't know it.
