At that point I'd rather just use an air rifle or pellet gun. I'm not climbing a ladder for these fucking things.

If you wanted maximum discreetness and took the time to become adept with it, I'll bet a proper slingshot with a heavy duty band could also get the job done.

Slingshots are under rated. Any rock is ammo and you can get very accurate with them with practice
