I think this happened to me. I can clearly remember the day when I decided that, even though my life wasn't worth anything to anyone, I wasn't going to go quietly.
I decided to have kids and raise them to be absolute beasts; rejecting worldly decadence and spitting status quo hypocrisy right back into the face of the complacent morons running things.
Conviction. Look up the Christian version of Metanoia. For me the process was to cut out all the BS that's distracting me, go outside and touch grass. Reflect on my life, my actions, my habits, etc. Project that into the future and see where I'll end up. Then decide where I'd rather be and what to do to get there. Start small, and make a decision. Not like "I'll do it tomorrow" type of decision, but "how can I start right now" type. Then be consistent and track your consistency.
Start small so you don't burn yourself out. And usually another tip is to focus on one thing. When you "win" at that one thing, you'll figure out the process and you can then re-apply it to other things.

30 years later and I regret nothing.
You can just up and decide to do that? We need to get this to the incels ASAP.
