Comics have hardly ever been based. Right from the get-go they were dominated and promoted by jews. Superman being the prime example.

Some of the early stuff like Doc Savage or The Shadow were non-jewed and set the tone for the best of the golden era of pulp media. Tin-Tin is another one, as it was published mostly prior to WWII from a monarchist-friendly Belgian publication. Tin-tin himself is supposedly inspired by Leon Degrelle.

Doc Savage was my role model as a teenager growing up in the 70s. I had all of the Bantam paperback reprints and read them all. I wanted nothing more than to be like that man, strong, stoic, and man's man. I thought most comic book characters were weak and neurotic, especially Spider-Man.
