>Collectivism is for sheep.

A nice euphemism that is popular in the US. But "sheep" is obviously supposed to give a negative frame. Wolves and Bison are also collective, and work in herds and packs. Clans, church communities, fraternal orders, etc. also act as collectives. The Amish, Mennonites, and other succesfull communities work as semi-collectives. Sports teams and armies. Even feudalism/Monarchy existed for a reason, as a localized collective was needed after the fall of Rome. The feudal system served Europe well for a millenia, given the circumstances.

Communism is often conflated with "the collective". But communism fails because it is based on false principals, false unities, and the lie of egalitarianism. Not because of it is collective nature.
