How come dogs will obey their female owners who they watch get fucked by countless men though?

You know, I never actually thought about this but that does seem to be the case despite my wife feeding my dogs 90% of the time. They LIKE her more for sure, follow her around the house more and prefer to cuddle with her - but when I give a command it's often as if god parted the clouds and shouted it down at them himself.
