I'm applying for a wildfire fighter position on a crew of about 20 guys. I really want the job, I know I'll enjoy it and I also really need the money. I've veen unemployed for about 6 months now. I've been living with my parents for those 6 months. My mom works two jobs because my dad who is a highly experienced engineer can't find work of his own calibre, he's now been offered a position that seems to good to be true so I would love prayers for him too. If I can get a good paying job in the off season then I'll have a lot of opportunities for myself and others financially, to finish out mortgages, get off the rent treadmill and get off credit.

Thank you all in advance...

I don't understand why such a job would limit the size. Don't they need every one they can get? Why have crew size limitations? Isn't it super challenging to start? And there can't be that many people into it such that they'd need all the help they can find
