Was in Canada with my uncle. He told me the city has had several overpasses damaged by trucks smashing into them and wonders why this is happening. I tell him the obvious answer - indian truck drivers.
All the sudden he looks at me and in the deepest, most demonic voice says "you better shut the fuck up if you know what's good for ya". Then reverts back to a completely normal tone and changes the subject entirely.
I have a lot of practice cutting brushes, small trees, branches, grass and other things with my machete. The necessary ability is there. I *can* kill with it with ease, and I know how well it can cut.
While I wouldn't kill a White person (beat up an intruder with a blunt weapon *only*), with nons there is nothing holding me back. Nothing.
The sheer psycho-terror it can cause can be quite interesting. If he manages to run away and talk to others about that crazy whypepo, that alone ensures they won't get near you again. You will gain a reputation for not being messed with.
Of course it means nothing if you are not ready to chop him down if you catch him. And if you injure him, don't let him escape. Don't leave any evidence behind.
See it in a utilitarian way. But nobody said you can't enjoy it.
But yeah, noise also matters. If you fire a gun, people will wake up, will be curious and may call the police. That makes it inevitable that you justify yourself before the police about how it was self-defense.
In the Bundeswehr I used the pistol P8, which was surprisingly difficult to hit with. Just little motions left and right could totally screw up aiming.
Then there was the G36. It was the rifle which was assigned to us, so we often walked around with it. It's much easier to aim with it, so a long barrel and the ability to hold a gun properly with two hands helped a lot.
Then there was the MG3. It's a machine gun, but you'd be surprised how accurate it can be. If you lean into it (as you had to) when crawling, aim well, it's very accurate. Of all 3 guns I had best accuracy with that one.
There was some bronze/silver/gold thing for target practice, I made gold for all except for P8 (silver). I only tried all once, so in my short time I almost had the badge of weapon marksmanship.
Even still, I imagine you'd need even more training for blades to be an effective way to put someone down quickly and quietly. What would you do against multiple armed attackers?
I can cut a leaf in half that hangs from a brush or small tree, and I do use them for 20-40 minutes per session.
What would I do with multiple invaders? First of all, either I try the psycho-terror approach, or I don't let them think and charge immediately. In both cases I wouldn't say a word. If you talk, you can be negotiated with. In the first case it's detrimental to causing fear, in the second case it's pointless and detrimental.
It depends on the situation, you have thrust (swords only, can be lethal, but won't stop them immediately), cut (swords and machetes, a swing with full force for devastating damage that can stop them), slash (you pull the sword for superficial injuries, here it's only pain).
A sword needs to be held with 2 hands as it needs more control (their grip is generally long enough to be held with 2 hands), machetes however can be dual wielded pretty well (grip for 1 hand only).
I'd attack them violently without giving them a moment of pause, aiming for 1. preventing them from fleeing, 2. lethality. If they do have weapons, I'd focus on slashing or cutting their arms holding them. With 2 machetes you can strike one's weapon and with the other his head. If they stand in formation, I'd go for one on the side to avoid getting surrounded. If they have guns, that's a problem.
If I have the advantage of stealth, I'd use it. No need to waste it to announce myself. Just the advantage of closing the distance a little faster is enough.
