I've only recently started reading the source material and I've learned that the Gnostics believe that the God in the Torah is actually an imperfect God (described as resembling a dragon) and not the true Father of everything. Jesus Christ's father is not the Torah God but the true Father of everything. Jesus Christ was trying to save humanity from the Torah God.
Seems pretty accurate to me. Many people say that jews worship the devil. Well, the Gnostics basically said the same thing in texts over 2000 years old. I've also heard the Torah God is a dragon bit before and thought it was a modern view. I didn't realize it literally was written in texts 2200 years old.
the idea that God is jewish is a jewish trick to begin with, and any discussion starting with this premise is flawed. the OT is one long story of the judean jews (and also israelites in general - Whites today are also sinful for example...) repeatedly fucking up no matter what God tried until He sent down Jesus Christ to clarify things and begin an age of antisemitism and vigilance against demons that hadn't existed before. how could this have happened without the OT happening at all? how can you know what Good is, without having the Evil to compare to? even Jesus Christ said He came not to nullify the OT but to fulfill it, and indeed He has, because by looking at the flaws of the OT hebrews and the pharisees we know what not to emulate.
that to me doesn't signify any imperfection, unless you subscribe to the Babycandian Paradox kind of thinking where a "perfect God" would obviously mean always giving you candy and making it healthy for you too. but that falls apart if Jesus Christ is supposed to be that, because even after His coming we still have evil to deal with. so the whole premise doesn't make sense.
How could it have happened without the OT happening? Well, it couldn't have but I'm not saying the OT didn't happen just that the OT God is an imperfect God.
We know what good and evil is because Eve at the fruit and gave it to Adam to eat.
Jesus Christ didn't pluck humanity out of the material world such that evil ceased to exist for us but he showed us the way to leave the material world such that evil wouldn't follow us.
No. Principally jews are decieved. They think they worship God, but they don't. Now, some of them actually don't believe they worship only God, and believe they worship the devil too. These jews are Mysitic jews. They're retarded and decieved even from the standard jews' viewpoint. Then there are devil worshippers who are jewish. Literally satanists, who may or may not believe that satanism/their flavor of it is the true fulfillment of judaism, e.g. Marina Abramovitch.
Or are you just making stuff up?
>"However, I saw someone coming near us who looked like the one who was laughing on the tree (cross). He was filled with the Holy Spirit, and it was the Savior (Jesus Christ). There was a great light surrounding them, indescribable light and countless angels blessing them... ...The one who was released is my incorporeal body. I am the rational Spirit, full of radiant light. The one you saw approaching me is the spiritual Fullness, uniting perfect light with the Holy Spirit in me... That is why I said, 'To everyone who has, more will be given,' and 'Whoever has nothing,' - which refers to the man of this world who is completely dead - 'will have everything taken away'. And if someone manifests from the immortal being, they think they will capture him; 'to him it will be given and will be taken from the one who is.' But you, be brave and do not fear anyone, for I will be with you so that none of your enemies will have power over you. Peace be with you; be strong." When the Savior had said this, Peter came to himself. The Apocalypse of Peter." - Apocalypse of Peter
>The Father looked at Barelo in the unstained light that surrounds the invisible Spirit and his radiance, and from him, she conceived. In this way he generated a flame of light in the light, in the form of blessing, but it is not equal to his greatness . It is the only child of the Metropator, which emerged. It is born by him alone, the only son of the father, pure light. - Apocryphon of John
Here you have Jesus conveyed as the son of the father and is known as the Savior in Gnosticism.
