I've only recently started reading the source material and I've learned that the Gnostics believe that the God in the Torah is actually an imperfect God (described as resembling a dragon) and not the true Father of everything. Jesus Christ's father is not the Torah God but the true Father of everything. Jesus Christ was trying to save humanity from the Torah God.

Seems pretty accurate to me. Many people say that jews worship the devil. Well, the Gnostics basically said the same thing in texts over 2000 years old. I've also heard the Torah God is a dragon bit before and thought it was a modern view. I didn't realize it literally was written in texts 2200 years old.

Sure.

"...and from her emerged her imperfect creation,... ...her creation changed its appearance to resemble a dragon with a lion's head... ...She also named him Yaldabaoth. ...He (Yaldaboath) is delirious in his ignorance, which is in him. For he said, "I am God, and there is no other God besides me." ...When he saw the creation that surrounded him and the multitude of angels around him, which came from him, he said to them, "I am a jealous god, and there is no other god beside me." But when he announced this, he indicated to the angels who are with him that there is another God (the Perfect Father). For if there were no other, against whom would he be jealous?" - Apocryphon of John

In Genesis "God"(?) is depicted as walking around Eden asking Adam and Eve where they went. Marcion the early Gnostic made a point of this.

I forget where but there was an old depiction of "Iahveh" with giant snakes for legs. Someone pointed out "Leviticus" shares a root with "Leviathan" as well.

Giant snakes for legs, sounds like abraxas, did they say "Iahveh" had the head of a chicken? (well, it could well be that the jews worshipped a long-nosed deity back in those days, which could be described as chickenheadedness)

Abraxas had the body of a serpent and head of a lion. But also shares a linguistic root with Abraham (phone autocorrected to that lol)

The lion-headed serpent is Chnoubis/Yaldabaoth, Abraxas is the chicken-headed one holding a shield and with snakes for legs
