It's a scam. (((They))) don't want you eating beef, they want you eating soy products and bug protein. The prices are manipulated to force more lower class consumers to other meat and protein sources. Why? Because grass fed pasture raised beef is a super food. They want you eating products that lowers your testosterone and IQ.

wasn't RFK discussing this, that pretty much 100% of beef in US is covered by 4 companies and they are price-fixing

Bananas are sold as hooks to bring you in.

I don't think I've ever seen a black eat a fruit or vegetable besides watermelon (in memes...not sure if they really eat them)

Fresh bananas are disgusting because of how slimy and starchy they are. But baked or dried are great.

True. I can handle dried banana chips or pieces in banana nut bread but that's about it

I’ve been eating a lot of Australian and French imported beef lately. It’s crazy the taste difference

After eating a lot of pastured meats and/or stuff from local farms, I tried some of the "tube" packaged ground beef from the grocery store. Trying to save money. I could barely choke the stuff down, it tasted like sawdust.

I agree with your point but this seems like a bad example. They might both be food but the process is totally different, might as well compare bananas to computer chips.

Same with locally grown apples; they've gone from $2/lb to $2.75/lb in 5 years, bananas stay the same price.

Pineapples went from $2 to $3 in the same time period. Tomatoes from $1.67 to $2.50. Everything goes up *except bananas*!

What's the deal?

No clue, maybe they are just that much more prolific and the supply is higher than the demand. I'm curious to look into it now
