Airen is an angel, the Balrogs are demons. Tolkien's catholicism is deeply interwoven into the whole series, by contrast, so is traditional indo european (particularly germanic) religion. Arien is more similar to an amalgamation of Archangel Michael and the sun goddess Sól (the germanic female version of the greek god helios) than anything else. Not a race, but a very obvious parallel to both Archangel Michael as well as the germanic sun goddess.

However, Tolkien was also an astute indo europeanist and a fanboy of the Gaelic and Welsh languages, so the name Arien is probably not coincidental and it probably comes from the old Irish word Aire, which meant "noble", and which has very obvious cognates with the word Aryan.

But there is an actual analogy to aryan people and that one is pretty blatant, it's the elves. Tall, pale, beautiful, slender, physically and mentally superior people with dark/blonde hair and light eyes that taught the other races how to live and gave them all of their technology. The elves grow even more close to the real life aryans by having a dogshit birth rate, disappearing from the world, and by being slowly replaced by men who are inferior. Tolkien was thinking ahead of his time.

Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed
