I kinda agree with his premise, the elders gave in to apathy and ease instead of passing on vigilance and determination.

They thought the good guys won.

As for his boomer apathy, idk, I'd have to talk to him more but he seems to understand the zeitgeist and cultural currents at play since ww2.
